Vermason moved to Avenue One during the summer of 2001 and now occupies a single-level 2000m2 facility, most of which is factory and warehouse space.
Great emphasis is placed on safety and quality systems. An enhanced material flow system in the new facility now enables us to trace many of the products, all the way from goods in to dispatch.
Vermason has also focussed on improving the environmental aspect of its systems, with emphasis on waste reduction, recycling and reducing energy consumption.
Enclosed logistics facilities and a new automated packaging system have greatly improved the materials handling departments, and greater communication and support between all departments ensure that customers' needs are met more quickly and efficiently.

Vermason's mat cutting machine allows sheet materials to be cut on a computer controlled cutting table. It offers several benefits to the customer including:
- Accurate dimensions ± 0.5mm/m
- Truer edges and angles
- Consistently positioned cut-outs e.g. stud holes
- High repeatability
- Odd shapes are possible even for small quantities

Our injection moulding machines produce plastic components for our wrist bands, earth bonding points and some packaging products. They allow us to mould the variety of colours and conductive properties required by the end-user. |

In the electronics area we assemble test and calibrate wrist strap testers, surface resistivty meters, EPA testers and probes. We also have the ability to test materials for their ESD properties after conditioning in a large and versatile climate chamber. |
